our team ![]() Trent graduated from Westmont College in Montecito in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. As an undergraduate he studied the effects of amygdaloid lesioning and ethanol exposure on fear conditioning and risk assessment behaviors in Sprague Dawley rats. He also studied the function of mirror neurons in the somatosensory cortex of normal human volunteers. During his senior year he spent time with a non-profit humanitarian group, helping to provide basic medical, dental, and ophthalmologic care for the poor in an underserved area of Mexico. Trent completed an internship in the research division of Pacific Neuroscience Medical Group in June of 2011, after which he joined our practice as a Research Assistant. His current responsibilities include vital sign measurement, electrocardiogram performance, laboratory specimen processing, investigational drug compliance and drug preparation and dispensing. He also assists in clinical trial coordination support, data collection and entry, and community outreach. When he isn't hard at work in our clinical research department, he enjoys web design, leisure reading, and Tennis. Trent intends on pursuing medical school and using his experience with Pacific Neuroscience Medical Group to assist him in his future studies. |
